Operational Interior Design: maximizing profitability, functionality and aesthetics in hospitality projects with Hospitality Design Management

On September 19, we were in the showroom of DoContract Madrid in an interesting talk about hospitality projects. In this session, Lucia del Barrio Pérez del Molino, founding partner of Hospitality Design Management, explored the concept of operative interior design, which consists of providing projects in the hospitality sector with a balance between all the parts. It was a very intense and inspiring day, where a good number of professionals from the sector joined us in this interesting reflection. The talk began with the intervention of Lucía del Barrio, who introduced us to the innovative concept of “Operational Interior Design”. This approach not only focuses on aesthetic design, but also on maximizing profitability and functionality in hotel projects, adapting to the specific needs of each type of asset. A great journey from the acquisition of an asset to its refurbishment, highlighting the importance of sustainability and working with local teams and suppliers. Next, Laura Carbonell Bullón from Tarimatec presented their range of products, highlighting why they are ideal for these projects, focusing on sustainability and durability.
Finally, on behalf of TM Leader Contract, as a DoContract partner company, our colleague ANGELA MOLINA NÁCHER surprised the attendees with the new models of our collection and success stories, showing how TM Leader Contract designs can elevate any space.

The session culminated with a question and answer session, where an enriching dialogue was generated, followed by a networking coffee that allowed all attendees to exchange ideas and create valuable connections. Thank you to all attendees and speakers! We are sure that these concepts will continue to evolve and add value to future projects in the hospitality sector.
