Elegance and Tradition: Our Project at the Hospedería de Hervás
At TM Leader Contract, we are proud to have taken part in the renovation project of the Hospedería de Hervás, a historic establishment located in the heart of the Ambroz Valley, in northern Cáceres. This unique accommodation occupies a former 17th-century convent that has been carefully restored to preserve its essence, offering guests a unique experience where contemporary design blends seamlessly with the soul of its heritage.
The town of Hervás, sheltered by Mount Pinajarro, is a true paradise for nature lovers and rural tourism enthusiasts. Once a convent, it is now an exclusive rural retreat where history and contemporary design coexist in perfect harmony. TM Leader Contract has had the privilege of contributing to this emblematic place, bringing its expertise in contract furniture to shape spaces that respect the past while embracing the comfort of the present.

A Complete Experience
This is a project coordinated by Mofexsa, in which TM Leader Contract has been involved in the interior design and the furnishing of many of the rooms.
The result of this collaboration is a hotel that invites guests to disconnect, where every detail has been carefully curated to create a welcoming atmosphere. The renovation of the Hospedería de Hervás is not just an aesthetic enhancement, but a reinterpretation of the building as a meeting point between history, landscape, and contemporary design.
The goal has been clear: to respect the building’s heritage essence without renouncing the comfort and functionality demanded by today’s hospitality industry.
At TM Leader Contract, we remain committed to projects that honour the spirit of spaces while giving them new life through design and functionality. The Hospedería de Hervás is yet another example of how furniture can transform not only a building, but an entire accommodation experience.

A Dialogue Between History and Design
The project presented an exciting challenge: integrating contemporary furniture into spaces steeped in history, such as the cloister or the spacious lounges filled with natural light. We opted for noble materials and understated finishes, capable of complementing the architecture without overshadowing it.
The result is a hotel that preserves its monastic essence while offering guests the contemporary comfort expected from a premium accommodation. Today, the Hospedería de Hervás is a destination where past and present coexist in harmony, and where design becomes an essential part of the experience.
Functionality and Durability
As experts in contract furniture, we understand that aesthetics must go hand in hand with durability and easy maintenance. For this reason, all the finishes selected for this project were tested to withstand the intensive use typical of a hospitality environment, without sacrificing style.

In the image above, we see the restaurant El Convento, where the Nara chair takes centre stage. Its solid wood structure—light yet robust—and its clean lines blend naturally with the architecture of the space. With an enveloping backrest and a dark-toned upholstered seat, Nara provides long-lasting comfort for diners while maintaining a sleek profile that doesn’t overwhelm the room. The result is an elegant, warm, and serene dining space—perfect for savouring Extremaduran cuisine slowly, appreciating every flavour, and enjoying every moment.

The Nira armchair enhances the patio of the former convent cloister, where light and water take centre stage in a space that has witnessed the passing of centuries.
Other pieces used in the project, in this case within one of the common areas, include the Sushi sofa accompanied by the Vara auxiliar table. The Sushi sofa brings modernity and freshness to this corner. Its soft volumes and straight arms convey a sense of calm and visual order, integrating seamlessly into an environment of historic walls and terracotta floors. Upholstered in natural tones, Sushi offers enveloping comfort to guests, inviting conversation or a relaxed pause after a day of sightseeing. The Vara side tables add versatility and dynamism. Their lightweight design, with angled legs and circular tops in different finishes, allows for multiple configurations and uses.
The hotel’s library is a welcoming space that reveals the original walls of the old convent. It exudes a serene atmosphere where every piece of furniture seems to embody softness and elegance. The Saul armchairs, with their rounded and inviting silhouettes, encourage moments of rest and quiet enjoyment. The Ronda poufs, upholstered in deeper tones, provide visual balance. Their presence invites both seating and use as low tables, making the ensemble a versatile and harmonious composition.
The guest rooms evoke a warm and cosy atmosphere thanks to the careful selection of furniture and natural materials. Our contribution to the project is reflected in contract-designed pieces that bring character and functionality to the space. Notable pieces include the Ciro armchair and the Nun auxiliar table, among others.

Each element has been conceived to blend harmoniously with the interior design, combining naturalness, durability, and a contemporary aesthetic. The result is a room with its own identity, designed to offer guests a premium rest experience.
Bespoke Furniture for a Unique Setting
The outcome is a hotel that keeps its monastic essence alive while providing guests with the contemporary comfort expected from premium accommodation. Today, the Hospedería de Hervás is a destination where past and present coexist in harmony, and where design becomes an essential part of the experience.
At TM Leader Contract, we continue to demonstrate that design can transform historic spaces into memorable places, always with a sustainable and functional approach.
