To mark Milan Design Week 2026, TM Leader Contract returned to Milan to take part in the 64th edition of Salone del Mobile Milano, held from 21 to 26 April at Fiera Milano Rho. This edition once again confirmed Milan’s role as an international centre for design, bringing together more than 1,900 brands and 316,342 visitors from 167 countries.

This year, TM Leader Contract presented its new campaign concept: Find the Unexpected, an invitation to look at contract furniture from a different perspective and discover what emerges when design, functionality, character and durability exist in balance. With a new location in Hall 14 – Stand B28, TM Leader Contract took a step forward with a stand that turned the trade fair experience into a scenic journey: a dark, red and dramatic theatrical space where each piece of furniture emerged as the main character under the light. It was an immersive experience inspired by the worlds of cinema, theatre and the circus.

Find the Unexpected: discovering the unexpected

At Stand B28 in Hall 14, the concept behind TM Leader Contract’s new campaign, Find the Unexpected, came to life: an invitation to discover the unexpected in the way we observe, in the revelation of detail, and in the emotion each piece evokes when presented with the attention it deserves. A space where every piece, every material and every detail spoke of the same idea: the unexpected does not always announce itself; sometimes, it simply appears before us.

Find the Unexpected is not just a slogan; it is a way of understanding contract design: pieces capable of withstanding daily use, accompanying life in hotels, restaurants and hospitality spaces, while also inspiring, transforming and leaving a lasting impression. Because contract furniture does not have to give up personality. On the contrary, it can become a key element in creating spaces with identity.

The stand was conceived as a scenic space. Dark. Red. Deeply theatrical. Each piece was presented raised on platforms that acted as small stages, with dramatic lighting that revealed the design gradually. It was not simply walked through; it was experienced.

In a context saturated with visual stimuli at Fiera Milano, we chose the opposite approach: to slow the visitor’s pace, create atmosphere, and turn each design into a moment of revelation. The darkness enveloped the space. The red intensified it. And the light, directed with theatrical precision, shaped a journey in which each product emerged as the absolute protagonist.

New designs for a new way of inhabiting spaces

During the fair, TM Leader Contract presented a selection of new indoor and outdoor designs that reflect the natural evolution of the brand: designs created for demanding projects, where aesthetics must coexist with comfort, functionality and durability.

The new proposals are born from a cross-disciplinary approach, in which TM Leader Contract’s in-house creative team works alongside international designers and studios to create pieces with their own character, conceived to last and respond to the real needs of the contract sector.

Our first outdoor collection

One of the major milestones of this edition was the presentation of TM Leader Contract’s first outdoor collection. A proposal conceived to bring the brand’s design language outdoors through versatile, durable pieces prepared for intensive and long-term use.

For TM Leader Contract, a terrace is not simply an outdoor space: it is a place where life happens. That is why this collection was created to respond to a new way of designing spaces, in which interior and exterior relate to each other naturally. Hotel terraces, restaurant gardens, communal areas and outdoor spaces become settings where design matters just as much as it does indoors.

With this collection, designed in collaboration with Mudat Studio, the outdoors is redefined: it is no longer a complement, but an essential part of the contract experience. Pieces with soul, created to last and designed for projects that do not want to choose between beauty and durability.

The Outdoor Collection was presented at the stand as part of the scenic settings, showing that outdoor design can have the same identity, the same comfort and the same presence as indoor pieces, without having to choose between one and the other.

Collaborations that speak of design

The stand was also a meeting point with some of the creative voices that form part of the TM Leader Contract universe. This year, the collaborations with Karim Rashid, Yonoh Studio, Vlad Tolochko and Vicente Gallega stood out: profiles that bring different visions, yet are connected by the same idea: to create contract furniture with identity, functionality and a lasting purpose.

Karim Rashid returned for this edition with a second collaboration with TM Leader Contract, bringing his language of fluid lines, dynamism and a contemporary vision that breaks with convention. Yonoh Studio, for its part, presented a calm and precise vision of design, where simplicity, balance and detail coexist naturally.

An edition to remember

We return from Milan with the satisfaction of having shared a new stage for TM Leader Contract. A stage marked by discovery, by the evolution of contract design, and by an outdoor collection that opens up new possibilities for hospitality, hotel and high-traffic residential projects.

Find the Unexpected captures what this edition was all about: the excitement of discovering something different, the strength of new collaborations, and the certainty that good design always holds a surprise.

We return to Yecla with the satisfaction of having shared our vision of contract design with the international design community. And with the certainty that the unexpected, when revealed with the right attention, becomes memorable.

We say goodbye to Salone del Mobile.Milano 2026 with our eyes set on everything still to come. Because the unexpected does not end in Milan: it begins there.

See you in Milan 2027.
