Halo emerged from the exploration of the circle and its movement. It began with the idea of how a continuous curved line could wrap around space to create a sense of shelter, transforming a two-dimensional geometric figure into a three-dimensional form that embraces the back. Through a visual interplay, the circle shifts and folds to shape the backrest, becoming the armchair’s most distinctive and recognizable feature.

The idea came from a desire to create a chair that felt visually light yet structurally bold. The design team set out to explore how a chair’s joints could become its greatest aesthetic strength, drawing inspiration from architectural forms that prioritize visual clarity and the purpose of each element. They developed a curved, organic silhouette that embraces the back, creating a visual contrast with the geometry of the legs while ensuring lasting comfort.
